Nation’s Premier Bowling Industry Trade Show Welcomes Five-Time - NFL MVP for Keynote Speaker
Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA) is pleased to announce renowned Denver Broncos quarterback, Peyton Manning, as the selected keynote speaker for the upcoming International Bowl Expo (IBE), the bowling industry’s premier annual conference taking place on June 26th – 30th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Manning will be kicking off proceedings on the 29th with a presentation speech about his insights surrounding the importance of teamwork, leadership, and keys to success in any endeavor.
“Bringing the International Bowl Expo to fruition is a labor of love for all involved,” said Nancy Schenk, BPAA Vice President and Chair of International Bowl Expo. “It takes a tremendous amount of work, but once all’s said and done, we know that this gathering of likeminded business professionals is a collectively beneficial event that’s sure to instill the necessary strategies to help attendees make the right moves to enhance their growth and share the experience of bowling with more people throughout the country.”
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Peyton on-board as the keynote speaker at this year’s IBE,” said Tom Martino, BPAA President. “As one of the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks and leading MVPs to ever grace the ranks of the NFL, Peyton represents all of the ideals we value within our own industry and continue to push the members of our association to embody everyday as we help them to find the success they strive for.”
Manning’s astounding achievements – being a 14-time Pro Bowl selection and setting records for single-season passing yards and touchdown passes, among others – are only a part of his story. In the midst of solidifying his place among NFL greats, Manning has managed to build an impressive resume for his humanitarian efforts.
In addition to forming the PeyBack Foundation in 1999, he also serves as a member of the American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet and The Pat Summit Foundation Advisory Board. Manning’s altruistic background has earned him the Byron “Whizzer” White Humanitarian Award and the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2005 as well as the Bart Starr Award in 2015.
