NOMINATING COMMITTEE CHARGE
The BPAA Nominating Committee is charged with facilitating the process for selection of board members. The process includes, but is not limited to:
- Developing a nominating process to ensure every member has an equal opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors
- Ensuring a fair review of all candidates’ credentials
- Certifying candidates are qualified for the position they are seeking
- Conducting face-to-face interviews with qualified candidates
- Notifying association members of the committee’s recommendations in a timely fashion
- Reviewing election process each year to determine possible efficiencies
Board Appointed Committee per Bylaws Section 11.01 – BOARD COMMITTEES. The Board of Directors will have the following Standing Committees: (a) Audit, (b) Awards, (c) Budget and Finance, (d) Governance, (e) Executive Evaluation, and (f) Nominating. The President will appoint committee chairpersons and committee members to serve congruent with President’s term subject to approval of the Board of Directors. The President may also establish additional Standing Committees with Board approval
