Setting Up BPAA-hosted Email on iOS (Apple) Devices

Setting Up BPAA-hosted Email on iOS (Apple) Devices

The following step-by-step guide is used to set up your BPAA-hosted email on your iOS (Apple) Device(s). Please note: The following guide was done on iOS Version 13.1.2. If you are using an older iOS version, the steps may vary slightly.

Please note that if you recently updated your iOS device to iOS 13 you will need to DELETE your email account from your device and then set it up once again on the device. You will NOT lose any emails or data as it is stored automatically on our servers here.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Scroll down and select Accounts and Passwords
  3. Select Add Account
  4. Select Other
  5. Select Add Mail Account
  6. In the Name field, add in your name. (This is the name that will appear to people when they receive an email from you)
  7. In the Email field, add in your email address.
  8. In the Password field, add in the password for your email address.
  9. In the Descriptionfield, add in a description about this email account. (This is an optional field, and not required)
  10. You should now be under IMAP and it has new section called Incoming Mail Server
  11. In the Host Name field, enter mail.bpaamail.com
  12. In the User Name field, enter your email address IN FULL (Example: test@testingemail.com)
  13. In the Password field, enter the password associated with the above entered email address
  14. Under the Outgoing Mail Server section, enter the same information as you have just entered for the Incoming Mail Server
  15. Select Next at the top corner.
  16. If you have enterted the wrong information at any point it will prompt you with a pop-up message of, "Cannot Get Mail".
  17. Select Save at the top right

The account should now be successfully added to your iOS device. Be sure to test to make sure you can send and receive emails to the device to ensure it is working properly.
