Blocking and Unblocking Senders/Addresses within SmarterMail

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to block and unblock a sender/email address for your BPAA-hosted Email Address within the SmarterMail web portal.

 

  1. Once logged into SmarterMail, at the top left you will see an Envelope icon called Mail. Select this.
  2. Go to your Inbox.
  3. Right click on the desired email address sent from a particular address or domain you do not wish to receive stuff from and select Block Sender.
  4. This will then prompt the system to send all future items from that particular address to your Junk E-Mail and/or Deleted Items folders.
  5. If you wish to unblock an address, right click and select Unblock Sender.

 

Please note that changes can take anywhere from 24-72 hours or longer as the server will need to propagate the changes. If after that amount of time, you are still not (or are) receiving items from addresses that you have blocked, or unblocked, contact us for additional help.
