Setting Up Auto-Responder (Out of Office) Messages For My BPAA-hosted Email in SmarterMail

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to setup an Auto Responder (Out of Office) message for your BPAA-hosted Email Address within the SmarterMail web portal.


  1. Once logged into SmarterMail, at the top left you will see a 9-Squared icon called Menu. Select this.
  2. Under this tab, select Settings.
  3. On the left-hand side, select Auto-Responder.
  4. Switch the tab on the right for Enable auto-responder.
  5. Here you can customize the message with a fully HTML-cabable editor, and set the dates for which the auto-responder needs to start and end.
  6. Select Save at the top when finished.
