Setting Up BPAA-hosted Email on Android OS Devices

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to setup your BPAA-hosted Email on Android OS devices. Please note that this is done using Android OS version 6.0.1

  1. Select Email
  2. At the top left, select the three horiztonal lines, then select Manage Accounts.
  3. Selec the Plus ( + ) at the top right
  4. In the Email address field, enter your email address
  5. In the Password field, enter the password associated with your email address
  6. At the bottom select, Manual Setup
  7. Select IMAP Account
  8. In the field User name enter in your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS
  9. Scroll down and under the IMAP Server field enter mail.bpaamail.com.
  10. Under Security Type select NONE then select Next at the bottom right
  11. In the field SMTP server enter in mail.bpaamail.com
  12. All other fields leave them as they are and select Next at the bottom right.
  13. You may then be prompted with a message saying, "Alert. Unable to connect to email server to verify your account information. No response from server.". Select Continue at the bottom right.
  14. From here you can manage your sync settings and such. We recommend changing the Period to Sync Email from 2 Weeks to All. You can also change the sync schedule from the default of Every Hour to different increments. Once you have your sync settings set, select Next at the bottom right.
  15. The next two fields are optional, but these will be what the email appears as in your phone and what people will see the email as when they receive something from you. Select Done at the bottom when finished.

Your email is now setup. Be sure to test that you can send and receive emails from your device.
