MILITARY RELATIONS COMMITTEE CHARGE
The BPAA Military Relations Committee is assembled to assist the BPAA Executive Director in developing and maintaining relationships with military bowling centers and their respective branch managers. The duties of the Committee are numerous, however, the most prominent of those duties are:
- Recruitment and retention of military bowling centers into membership of BPAA;
- Advising to the development of programs and services which would recruit and retain military centers into BPAA membership;
- Promote active participation of BPAA member military bowling centers in local, state, and national association meetings and activities.
- Promote the game of bowling at military centers through the participation in activities, events, and tournaments that are available through local, state, and national associations.
- Serving as a liaison and solution builder when industry-wide problems arise between military centers and privately owned bowling centers. BPAA understands that our organization cannot mediate each and every dispute between our privately owned bowling centers and military centers; however, it is the responsibility of the Military Relations Committee to serve as a solution builder when industry-wide problems exist in this arena;
- Serving with the International Bowl Expo Committee as an advisor to the needs and wishes of the military centers related to Bowl Expo;
- Serving, as needed, as greeters and hospitality representatives to the military at Bowl Expo;
- Offering general advice and direction related to BPAA and Bowl Expo's military relationships
