Removing SSL Security Type from Android OS Devices for your BPAA-hosted Email 

The following step-by-step guide is used to Remove the SSL Security type from your Android OS device for your BPAA-hosted Email. Please note: The following guide is generic for Android OS devices. Instructions may vary depending on the version of Android OS you are running.

 

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Email
  3. Select Manage Accounts
  4. Select the desired account
  5. Scroll to the bottom and select More Settings
  6. Under the the Incoming Settings change Security Type from SSL to NONE
  7. Tap Done at the bottom
  8. The phone will then check and verify server settings and should be correct.

The account should now be successfully configured to your Andoird OS device. Be sure to test to make sure you can send and receive emails to the device to ensure it is working properly.
