I am doing some initial research at the potential of buying a bowling center. I have been involved with bowling for a very long time. I have 30 years of general management skills to apply to the center. My questions are as follows:

1) What is the best way to locate a center for sale?
2) How does one establish the value or offer price & and what are the most important considerations to be made?
3) What are the best alternatives for financing?
4) What would be the avg. net profit per lane after all expenses?
5) Any tips for putting a business case together for financing?

My attempt is for this to be a family owned center, with family management overseeing daily operations.

Thanks so much for any advice you can share with me.

Thanks,

Dave

Centers for sale are always in the bowling publications such as Bowlers Journal, Bowling Center Management (lubypublishing.com) and International Bowling Industry (bowlingindustry.com)

I suggest you look at:
www.sandyhansell.com
www.kenpaton.com

These would be good starting points.
