2010 and 2011 USBC OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS - PROPRIETOR CHALLENGE |
 In 2010 and 2011, bowlers from across the country will head to THE TAJ MAHAL OF TENPINS, the National Bowling Stadium in the NEW Reno, Nevada complete with a New Minor League Baseball Stadium, Legends Factory Store Complex and NBA D League Basketball Team. Holding the tournament in Reno in back-to-back years is unprecedented, so we’ve set unprecedented goals. USBC is challenging you to help us break the Reno record of 17,285 teams in both 2010 and 2011. |

So, it is with great excitement that we announce:
The Proprietor Challenge.
The challenge is simple. Drive the most new teams to enter for the 2010 and 2011 Open Championships and win $$$ and industry recognition. We have set up the challenge with three levels based on the three levels of center size, so everyone (no matter center size) has a chance to win. The three levels of center size are 1) Less than 12 lanes, 2) 13 to 24 lanes, and 3) 25 or more lanes. Each level will have a 1st prize at $5,000, 2nd prize at $2,500, and 3rd prize at $1,000. That is $25,000 on the line!
USBC and BPAA are also providing an activation kit with promotional tools to help you drive reservations. The kit will include a poster, brochures, B&W flyer (for copy), DVD, planogram, as well as a CD with banner ads and a website template to host on your site.
BPAA.com will also feature a scorecard throughout the promotion, showing what proprietors are in the lead, so check in often to see where you rank!

THE TOURNAMENT
The USBC Open Championships comes to Reno and the National
Bowling Stadium to provide USBC members the opportunity to compete in
the and to
take home their share of more than $5 million in prize money. Bowlers
compete in singles, doubles, team and all-events. USBC, along with the
help of bowlers like you, wants to break the Reno record of 17,825 teams
in both 2010 and 2011.
THE REWARDSTo reward you for helping us reach this goal, the USBC and Reno-Sparks
Convention & Visitors Authority have created the USBC EAGLE’S NEST,
an exclusive club that gives its members with a chance to win:
