BPAA Recognize “Best in State Association Work” at 2008 Bowling Summit
BPAA-affiliated State Bowling Center/Proprietor Associations Awards Presented
ARLINGTON, TEXAS - The Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA) announced the recipients of The 2008 Best of BPAA Awards, which recognize achievements of BPAA’s affiliated state bowling center/proprietor associations. The awards, sponsored by Pepsi-Cola, the official soft drink of bowling, were presented during the Town Hall Meeting held Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at BPAA’s Bowling Summit Mid Winter Conference in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
These awards were created a few years ago to recognize and honor large and smaller state bowling center/proprietor associations for their achievements in various areas of association management, member communications, membership, and special programs or projects (see attached list of winners). Award winners for best newsletter, best association website, best legislative campaign, best charitable or community project, best bowling promotion, and best new member program were based on submissions sent in by BPAA’s affiliated state associations.
Headquartered in Arlington, Texas, the 75-year-old Bowling Proprietors' Association of America represents the business interests of bowling center owners worldwide.
